Category: Data Processing and Evaluation – Images
Description: This script performs a live inverse FFT of the annotated front image. Have the FFT of an image with one or several masks in the front-most window. Select whether the inverse FFT should be done with the masked area or the unmasked anrea. Select the filter length ("Smooth Edge" in the "Apply Mask" menu and press ENTER. The inverse FFT image is generated and updated live whenever the iFFT parameters are changed or if new masks are added, deleted or modified. Can work on stacks of images and VIEW windows as well (while acquiring images). In the first version the user was prompted to hit Space bar when done to terminate the listening process. Berhard Schaffer improved the script by adding a destructor that listens to a tag. He also corrected a bug by moving up the Background command to the beginning of the script, before the comments.
Comments: It would be better to make replace the dialog box by a palette.
Acknowledgements: The script is based on the algorithm of Berhard Schaffer "Listen to VIEW" available in the DM scripts database (TU Graz). Many thanks to Berhard Schaffer for improving the script. message: Dear Admin, I was lucky to have Berhard improve the script so soon after posted.
