Create Spectrum from Image

Description:	In a fully configured online Digital Micrograph/EELS system, there is a command in the 'Filter' menu to convert a CCD image of an EELS spectrum into a spectrum. This functionality is not found in the offline version without the relevant plugins present. This script replicates that functionality. Typically, you wouldn't use it much, but just occasionally I have inadvertently saved the CCD image of a spectrum rather than the spectrum, and this script then comes in handy for offline work. It will also convert any 2d image into a 1d projection onto the x axis - not hugely useful except perhaps for looking at diffraction spot profiles.
