This script will extract and process EELS spectra from previously saved EELS data cubes. EELS data cubes can be created using the script 'Multiple EELS Acquisition' also available at this site. The EELS data cubes contain CCD images (typically 1024 x 128) of multiple EELS spectra. Extracted spectra can be summed with or without energy shift correction (for energy drift). Individual spectra can be omitted from the summation. Any omitted spectra can be restored to the cube, to return it to its original condition after processing. To remove X-ray spikes from the data, use the script 'EELS Cube Data Editor'. |
