| Description: | A new version addresses the changes in the Velox 2.4 format. The script reads now both Velox 2.3 and Velox 2.4 formats. The script import an EDX spectrum-image stored by FEI Velox software (.emd). Both one-frame and multiframe spectrum-images are supported. |
| Comments: | This script requires installation of Niermann's plugin for reading HDF5 format. The latest version (Nov 2017) is needed (https://github.com/niermann/gms_plugin_hdf5/releases). The output is an integer image with the byte depth defined by a user. There is a limitation on the imported data size in the current version. Data size more than 2GB (512 x 512 x 4096 at 2-byte depth) will produce artefacts (null channels at high energies) or might cause a crash. |
