SADP Define Centre

Category: Data Processing and Evaluation – Images
Description: This script will create tags (identical to those created by DiffPack) which record the centre of the SADP in X and Y pixel units. It was written for use with the 'SADP Rotational Average' script. The procedure is: Run the 'SADP Remove Calibration' script to remove any calibration - overlay a circle feature on the SADP and make it concentric with a large diffraction ring. Shrink the circle to make it very small - it now defines the SADP centre - read off the centre in x and y values (hence the need to remove any calibration). Run this script to plug in these x and y values to the image (obviously if you have DIFFPACK you don't need to do this - be aware DiffPack only works on centro-symmetric patterns). Calibrate the SADP for the camera length you used. Finally run the 'SADP Rotational Average' script.
