SADP Rotational Average

Category: Data Processing and Evaluation – Images
Author:
Description: This script requires a spatially calibrated SADP which has had the centre located using the DIFFPack Auto Find Centre routine (or manually located by the user). It uses this centre to rotationally average the SADP, greatly improving the S/N ratio on weakly exposed ring patterns. If it is run without the centre appropriately located, the physical centre of the image will be the rotation point and smearing of the pattern will occur. The script generates a rotational average image, as well as an intensity profile vs 1/d plot, from which d-spacings can be measured with high precision, and relative intensities estimated.
Comments: Should work on a Mac.
