Save As TIF

Category: Data Import/Export
Author:
Description: This script saves images in the TIF format. If it is called with one or more images opened, than it will ask the user if only the first displayed image, or all of them should be saved as TIF. IMPORTANT: The images are saved as TIF and then closed (and lost), so you should save them as DM3 files first! If no image is opened, the user is prompted for selecting a directory. All DM3-Images of this directory will then be opened & saved as TIF images. Use this to easily convert a whole set of images. The script will also ask for a zoom factor (default = 1, which means that the TIF image will have the same "true" dimensions as the DM3-file). Another option allows to "burn" the annotations into the TIF image
Comments: The script uses several functions from other packages which are included here in order to make this script work as stand-alone script. Do not use this script, if you have installed those packages! Instead delete the code until the "End of auxilary functions" comment. The funcitons deal with the "global tag" system used to save/recal standard paramters for different scripts.
